The VinFast MPV 7 combines practical cabin arrangements with comfort, convenience and safety features aimed at families who regularly travel with multiple passengers. Its equipment includes dedicated third-row air-conditioning controls, adjustable seating, a PM2.5 cabin air filter, ISOFIX child-seat mounts and connected-car functions that allow owners to control the air conditioning remotely through a smartphone app.
The vehicle's rear air-conditioning system is designed to improve comfort across all three rows. AC vents are provided for the second and third rows, with dedicated controls for third-row passengers. This allows occupants at the back to adjust the cooling for their section of the cabin, an important consideration when all seven seats are occupied during hot weather.
Seating flexibility is another feature of the MPV 7. The second-row seats have a 60:40 split configuration and can slide and recline, allowing passengers to adjust their positions and make better use of the available cabin space. A one-touch tumble function moves the second row forward to facilitate access to the third row.
The third-row seats feature a 50:50 split configuration and can be folded when they are not required, creating additional luggage space. This arrangement allows the cabin to accommodate different combinations of passengers and baggage, whether the vehicle is being used for daily school journeys or family holidays.
The MPV 7 also features a PM2.5 cabin air filter designed to help remove fine particulate matter from the air entering the vehicle. The feature is intended to provide an additional layer of filtration for families travelling through busy urban areas and congested roads. However, cabin filtration does not eliminate outdoor air pollution entirely.
For families travelling with young children, the vehicle includes ISOFIX child-seat mounting points in the second row. These designated anchoring points are designed for compatible child seats. The safety equipment also includes seatbelt reminders for all occupants, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, electronic stability control and traction control. These systems are intended to support braking performance and vehicle stability under different driving conditions.
Connected-car technology adds another convenience feature. The MPV 7 supports remote heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) control through a smartphone app, allowing owners to activate the air conditioning before entering the vehicle, subject to operating conditions and feature availability. The connected functions also allow owners to check the vehicle's location and status and receive notifications, including intrusion alerts.
The vehicle's third row also receives attention through practical features such as adjustable headrests and cup holders. These additions are intended to improve convenience for passengers seated at the back, particularly during longer journeys.
Together, the six features address key considerations for seven-seat family vehicles: cabin cooling, seating flexibility, air filtration, passenger safety, remote climate control and third-row convenience.
